Cyprus is a country washed by the Mediterranean where one will come to face two cultures. The weather is mild, the winters are mild and rainy and the summers are hot and dry. The capital Nicosia is a walled city that has three major gates, Cirina, Pafo and Famagusta. The most famous is the latter. If you go for it you will find newly renovated charming neighborhoods such as Laiki and Geitonia.
Between Nicosia and Limassol you’ll find the wonderful green landscape Troodos which is made up of many forests. This place is different from the rest for it’s unexpected natural beauty.
If you love the beaches and the ones you like the most are the white sand and crystal clear ones with pure water, you should not wait any longer and go visit the beaches of Larnaca. It is the second largest port of the island and lies besieged by an international airport.
If you liked these beaches you can also visit Ammochostos beaches. By going there you also get the chance to visit what was once a small fishing port but today is a place of resort. Here you should not miss the monastery which is very old but is well maintained.
