An accommodation for travelers with a strong sense of adventure, a passion for history and authenticity and thirst for new experiences. The Sextantio Albergo Diffuso is located half an hour east and north of Rome, between 2,912 meters peak of Corno Grande and the sandy beaches of the Adriatic Sea, nestled in the middle of the Appennines Santo Stefano di Sessanio, one of the most spectacular villages.
From these ruins was born the Sextantio Albergo Diffuso a unique style hotel with 27 rooms. The rooms are spread out through the narrow, cobbled streets of the village of Santo Stefano. Under the picturesque arches and back doors of carved stone, guests will find rooms simply and perfectly harmonized with its surroundings.
The bathrooms are modern and curvilinear. The autonomous bathtubs shaped vase standing beside stacks of candles beside rich wooden furniture. Light seeps through small ledges on the stone walls and wooden ceilings.
Wood fireplaces, some with extra space to dry firewood, provide extra heat in the winter. Since there are no current signs showing the way, the path of the rooms to the restaurant Sextantio Albergo Diffuso illuminated by large candles.
