ABBA have always been one of the most popular complexes in Sweden thanks to the recent musical Mamma Mia filmed in Greece among other things. The historic Swedish pop band gets its first museum in the world that will be called ABBA The Museum is located in Stockholm.
The opening of the new museum is scheduled for May 7 and even now the tickets are available for sale online on the official website of the museum. Until May 31 the prices will be about 23 euro and during the summer the adult ticket will remain the same while children up to 15 years pay about 17 euro. Even a child accompanying an adult will cost only € 2.50. The building is 5,000 square meters and 2,000 square meters of these will be devoted to exhibition space.
Why visit the Museum of Abba? For the music that is part of the popular Swedish heritage but also to visit the place that encompasses all together songs such as Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen and Waterloo famous all over the world.
The museum will be highly interactive and will offer tourists the opportunity to mingle with media. ABBA The Museum will be a part of the new Swedish “Hall of Fame” and museum tickets will be valid for visiting throughout the building.
