The Serengeti National Park is the first national park in Tanzania and is one of the most popular natural areas in the world. The scenario of the Great Migration (of 9 out of 12 months) with significant moments from December to August when the park is host to the largest concentration of mammals on earth makes it a great travel destination: over 5 million animals which is why the Serengeti along with Ngorongoro were declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites and International Biosphere Reserves.
Since December those who wished to visit the Serengeti will have one more chance for the resort as it is the opening of the next Singita River Mara Tented Camp. It’s a new luxury resort tent which is close to one of the steps used by the animals during the great migration.
The range designed by a young African designer consists of 6 tents for guests with a total of 16 beds. Rooms start from $ 950 (about 730 euro at current exchange rates) per person per night, all inclusive and including safari. Note that there is also a swimming pool and claw toilet is open air.
