This German Christmas market is the oldest in the world, since it dates from the 16th century! This year it opens its doors to the public on November 29, when a gold angel appears, traditionally, on the balcony of the medieval church of Holy Mary, giving the signal of the start of the celebrations. Guests have at their disposal about 200 stalls, positioned in the central market square of the city, while a smaller children’s Christmas market is within walking distance. Local products and popular dishes of German cuisine served with the inevitable accompaniment of beer and one of the most interesting items is a watchdog group that roam the area and are responsible for authenticity of products and excellent quality.
The World Heritage city of Bath has an established reputation as a city of luxury, fun and relaxation, so what better than to visit for Christmas? City center is a shoppers paradise, as there are many festive experiences throughout family. The Christmas market starts on 28 November and lasts until 25 of December. It is considered the largest in the United Kingdom and in the shadow of the Abbey of the city, where 150 wooden huts, selling homemade food and handmade gifts.

The Christmas market in Brussels is one of Europe’s largest, with over 200 vendors.
