2 New Restaurants in New York City You Should Not Miss

The Big Apple, America’s melting pot is renowned for its skyscrapers and cultural diversity. With people from different ethnicities making the metropolis their home, it is not surprise to taste different cuisines while in the city. If you have always loved visiting New York and have not done so for years, you might want to check out the recently opened restaurants in 2015.

  1. Bruno

Most New Yorkers love their pizza and beer with friends and colleagues especially on Friday nights. If you want to find out the latest pizzeria they flock to these days, this is the place to be. Located at 204 E.13th St. in East Village, this Manhattan restaurant is owned by co-executive chefs Justin Slojkowski and Dave Gulino. This is not your ordinary pizza place with the chefs having experience in fine dining. As for freshness, flour is ground daily while margherita is topped with fermented tomatoes along the usual ingredients like basil, mozzarella and garlic. They have seven brick-oven pizza flavors to choose from.

Menu also includes pastas and desserts while their wine list, they have American and Italian wines. The interior is mostly made of wood with wooden seats that look like upright crates. Another unique thing about Bruno is the absence of tipping. Diners will have to pay the 20% administrative fee instead. Dining is usually walk-in but reservations can also be made.

For daily prepared patties, sauces, condiments and a place not serving meat nor meat or dairy products, this 100% vegan restaurant in downtown Manhattan is the destination for you. Located at 85 Bleecker St., Greenwich Village, By Chloe is owned by no less than Chloe Coscarelli, book author and winner of Food Networks’ Cupcake Wars.

They serve brunch, market specials and vegetable and fruit juices which include oats, burgers, pastas and cup cakes. For healthy dining that is not hard on the budget, this is the “go-to” restaurant for you.
